The Magic Quadrant (MQ) are reports published every one to two years by IT specialists Gartner. The reports provide visual overviews and in-depth analysis and guidance into a market’s direction, evolution and participants. Gartner Magic Quadrants offer vendor comparisons based on a set of performance criteria and methodology.

Teams of analysts collaborate to assess and rate each vendor against each of the weighted criteria. The resulting scores are used to generate a Magic Quadrant. The vendors researched will end up in one of the quadrants:

  4. Niche Players
